Working class

Today I'm working on installing new doors to make my house of worship accessible. The project is part of my way of getting support for paying my bills. Is it that Quakers don't know much about art? Or is that I am unable to tell people about my skills as an artist?

I'd rather be painting or sculpting. Nothing sells so I'm off to work.

Seeing

Making a painting or sculpture is for me the seeing of the world around me and choosing a way to depict what is there. Finding a method of recording the visual information and putting it on paper or clay is the challenge.
